Treena Sather-Head, MSW, LICSW, LMHC

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker and a licensed mental health

counselor.  I have a BS in Psychology and MA in Human Services from Liberty

University, and a MSW from University of Central Florida.

In addition to my formal education, I have many life experiences that help me identify on a personal, empathic level with my clients and their experiences.

I have been working in the mental health field since 2015 in a variety of settings and capacities - as a peer support specialist, an inpatient psychiatric unit mental health counselor, and now as a private practice therapist.

I enjoy working with individuals (all ages), couples, and families.  I welcome all faiths, beliefs, and sexual and gender identities.  I provide the safest space for growth as possible.  My services are client-driven - my role is to help clients find ways to be their best selves in ways that are meaningful to them.

I am trained in multiple modalities including, but not limited to, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy), CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), SFBT (solution-focused brief therapy), and MI (motivational interviewing).

I utilize an eclectic approach based on individual need, learning style, and pace of healing to help treat a variety of mental health disorders - anxiety, ADHD, bipolar, co-occurring, depression, personality, and trauma.

During this challenging time in our community, I offer safe, secure telehealth (video or phone) sessions to help you feel as comfortable as possible while attending to your mental health needs.
